CRM for Auto Detailing: Vehicles, Packages, and Repeat Work

Vehicle file desk

Vehicle files, packages, and repeat coatings — not bay booking software.

  1. Vehicle file
  2. Package
  3. Repeat coating
  4. Referral

Auto detailing CRM is a customer-plus-vehicle file: packages, coatings, last service, and the next maintenance wash. It is not a contractor job card with “detail” typed in the title.

Contractor estimate-to-dispatch work stays on CRM for contractors. Generic booking pages without vehicle history: appointment scheduling.

Detailing CRM workflow (not a GC stencil)

  1. Lead source. Instagram, Google, dealership/fleet accounts, and walk-ins. Fleet work is a different SLA than a Saturday ceramic.
  2. Vehicle identity. Year/make/model, color, existing film or coating, and photos. VIN/CARFAX-class objects appear in automotive-native tools (OrbisX markets those); a generic CRM will not invent them.
  3. Package and add-ons. Interior vs exterior, paint correction stages, PPF, tint — priced as a menu, not a single “job type.”
  4. Urgency. Same-week wash vs multi-day correction. The pipeline should not hide that.
  5. Unsold quote follow-up. Coatings die in the inbox. Day-2 / week-2 tasks belong on the opportunity.
  6. Repeat interval. Maintenance washes and coating inspections are a book of business, not a closed-won trophy.
  7. Reviews and referrals after a visible result — triggered from completed work, documented on reputation management software.

OrbisX and Urable — automotive-native (quote-only prices)

OrbisX markets CRM for detailers, tinters, wrap/PPF, and related shop work, including booking, reminders, and inventory claims on its public home. Urable publishes detailing-management articles tied to VIN, photos, and service history. Public sticker prices were not captured as a clean static table in this pass — omit dollars and confirm on orbisx.com and urable.com. Choose them when the shop’s object is the vehicle file. They are the wrong default for an agency sub-account OS.

Jobber — field service that can book a detail

Jobber can quote and schedule mobile or shop work. It is not documented as coating-warranty or VIN-native CRM. Use it when detailing sits beside other home services. Plan context: contractor CRM.

HighLevel — follow-up layer

HighLevel can capture web leads, SMS a quote reminder, and rebook a maintenance wash. It is not documented as bay boards, VIN scan, or chemical inventory. Prices: GoHighLevel pricing. Agencies running detailing clients: CRM for marketing agencies.
