CRM for Roofers: Storm Leads, Insurance Work, and Production
Roofing production desk
Retail vs insurance work, supplements, and production — not a generic contractor clone.
- Lead type
- Inspection / estimate
- Supplement / approval
- Production

The best roofing CRM is not one shared inbox. Retail work (the homeowner called because the roof is old) and storm/insurance work (an adjuster, a supplement, and a production queue) cannot live in one undifferentiated “new lead” bucket.
This URL owns roofing-company and roofer CRM wording. General contracting and HVAC stay on CRM for contractors and CRM for HVAC companies. Painting takeoff lives on CRM for painting contractors. Builders and restoration companies stay on CRM for construction companies. Competitor brand names discussed here are not separate content targets.
Retail roof vs insurance roof
Retail work looks like other home-service selling: canvass or digital lead, inspection appointment, estimate, follow-up, contract, production. Insurance work adds objects a generic CRM does not have: claim number, carrier, adjuster, mortgage-check tracking, supplement dollars, and a production calendar that is not the same board as “open estimates.”
Canvassing and storm-chasing leads go cold in hours, not weeks. The CRM has to assign an inspector, keep the appointment, and log who knocked which street. After the sale, the handoff is to production — materials, crews, weather — not to a marketing nurture sequence. When the job is done, review and referral asks matter; that lifecycle is documented on reputation management software.
What AccuLynx actually splits by plan
AccuLynx’s public plan-options page is a roofing-contractor feature table, not a dollar card. Pro and Elite are custom-quoted. Elite is where several insurance/production rows turn on. This page quotes that table, not blog “per-user” guesses.
| Criterion | Pro | Elite |
|---|---|---|
| Leads / CRM, estimates, contracts, invoicing, work orders | Included | Included |
| Aerial measurement ordering, materials library, supplier direct ordering | Included | Included |
| Supplement tracking | Not included | Included |
| Permits tracking | Not included | Included |
| Production calendar | Not included | Included |
| Production status and trade reports | Not included | Included |
| Mortgage check tracking | Not included | Included |
| Sales pipeline and closing-percentage reports | Not included | Included |
| Multiple company locations | Not included | Included |
| Custom workflow manager | Not included | Included |
AccuLynx also lists job messaging, a mobile field app, photo/video on the job, and a shared appointment calendar on both plans. Financial rows such as commissions and advances/paybacks tracking are Elite-only on that page. Monthly subscription with no contract is stated; dollars for Pro/Elite are not.
Choose AccuLynx when the operating system is roofing sales plus production, especially if supplements and production calendars are how the company makes money. Do not treat it as an agency white-label OS.
JobNimbus on a roofing shortlist
JobNimbus is a legitimate adjacent product: CRM and project management used heavily in roofing and exteriors, with quote-only pricing (Essentials / Pro / Premium / Enterprise). Measurement and supply-chain depth is why roofers shortlist it next to AccuLynx. Confirm integrations and portal behavior on JobNimbus’s site. No invented stickers here.
Home-service contractors who need booking, GPS dispatch, and a client hub more than supplements should read contractor CRM (Jobber is documented there).
HighLevel — marketing layer, not a claims desk
HighLevel can run inspection calendars, SMS follow-up, and funnels for a roofing marketing offer. It is not documented as supplement-tracking or roofing production software. Stickers: GoHighLevel pricing. Configuration copies: snapshots.
Agencies selling roofing clients an operating system start with CRM for marketing agencies. A working roofing company whose pain is insurance production should not “default” to HighLevel because the search contained the word CRM.
