A fitness scheduling app is a class book: capacity, waitlists, packs, memberships, and a coach on the floor. Gym scheduling wording folds here. It is not a salon chair, and it is not a generic 30-minute meeting link.
Fitness-specific constraints
- Class templates that repeat. Weekly grids, not one-off events.
- Capacity and waitlists. PushPress documents waitlisting when a class hits maximum capacity, plus no-show / late-cancel automation on its class scheduler.
- Memberships, packs, and drop-ins billed on different rules than a one-time consult.
- Check-in. Kiosk or member app — PushPress lists QR check-ins and a staff kiosk mode on Core.
- Trainer inventory. Substitutions, overlapping rooms, and PT appointments beside group classes.
- Seasonality and intro offers. January packs and summer pause dates are retention objects, not a generic “won deal.”
PushPress — published gym OS cards
| Criterion | List price | Documented processing (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Free / Core | $0/month | 4.99% + $0.30 card; 2.89% + $0.30 ACH |
| Pro | $159/month | 2.89% + $0.30 card; 0.79% + $0.30 ACH |
| Max | $229/month | 2.75% + $0.30 card; 0.79% + $0.30 ACH |
The same page lists unlimited members, staff, and admins on those three Core plans, a members app, class scheduling, waitlists, and PT appointment scheduling. FAQ copy also names Grow at $329/month as a marketing/CRM add and a branded-app add-on — confirm live if you are buying the stack, not Core alone. Choose PushPress when the business is a gym or studio whose product is classes and memberships. It is the wrong default for a marketing agency that needed client sub-accounts.
Mindbody, Vagaro, WellnessLiving — neighboring studio OS (quote-only)
Those names appear on live fitness-scheduling SERPs. Public sticker prices were not captured as a clean static table in this pass. Treat them as quote-led studio operating systems when you need marketplace, retail POS, or multi-location front desk depth. Do not copy third-party “Mindbody costs $X” blogs onto this page.
HighLevel — consult calendar, not the class cap
HighLevel can book a fitness consult or a studio’s intro call and run the follow-up. It is not documented as class capacity, member check-in, or membership billing for a gym floor. Prices: GoHighLevel pricing. Agencies selling to studios: CRM for marketing agencies.
